Medieval fantasy football, right in your browser

WebSoccerOnline

11-a-side matches in a castle stadium, with the pace and weight of the classic console football games of the 2000s: passing takes center stage, shots use a power bar and the goalkeeper reads the play.

Free · nothing to install · no sign-up

On a phone or tablet, turn the screen sideways: stick on the left, buttons on the right.

Play against the CPU, go for the Cup, bring a friend to the same PC or send the link to an online room.

Cup and penalties

Available

Real knockout football: a draw goes to extra time and, if needed, to a penalty shootout.

  • Copa de Pedravale · 8 clubs in a random draw: quarterfinals, semifinal and final with the club of your choice, including your own. Your progress is saved and the champion lifts the trophy.
  • Penalties · just the shootout: pick the clubs and the order of the takers, then shoot and save.
  • From the spot · the camera sits behind the taker, and the CPU goalkeeper picks a corner by reading the play, never your button.

Clubs

Seven clubs, seven ways to play

The squads are evenly matched on average; what changes is the style. Attributes range from 1 to 99 and every player feels different in your hands: speed, turning, touch, weaker foot.

On the pitch

From the first touch to the goal replay

  • Ball glued to your feet

The ball follows every change of direction. At full sprint it runs further ahead and is exposed to tackles.

  • Passes and shots with a power bar

Hold to charge and release to strike. Your direction picks the teammate for a pass or the corner for a shot.

  • A goalkeeper who reads the shot

Narrows the angle, dives into the corner, catches or parries, and comes off his line for one-on-ones and crosses.

  • Shot feint

Wind up a shot and cut it short with a pass: the defender bites and you find space. Works on crosses too.

  • Crosses and headers

High, low, along the ground or early. In the box, a high ball is a contest of height, leap and timing.

  • Complete set pieces

Throw-ins by hand, corners, goal kicks, free kicks with a wall, and penalties.

  • Player switching

Control passes to whoever receives your pass. On defense, switch with one button to the best-placed player.

  • Pressing and slide tackles

Hold to press, call in a second defender or risk a slide tackle. Hit the player before the ball and it's a foul.

  • Fatigue and the bench

Stamina drops over the match. Seven substitutes, up to five changes and a TV-style scene for substitutions.

  • Ball physics and the net

The ball curls, bounces, spins and cannons off the post. The net is simulated cloth that bulges with every goal.

  • Stadium, time of day and weather

Three castles, by day, at dusk or at night under torchlight. In the rain the ball runs faster; in the snow it slows down.

  • Goal replay

Replays from three angles, highlights at full time and a video clip to save or share.

How to play

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. Everything in the game today is free and needs no sign-up, online included. Nothing is for sale: cosmetics unlock as you play.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The game runs in the browser on your computer, phone or tablet: just open the page and play. Use an up-to-date version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. On phones and tablets, on-screen controls appear: a stick on the left and buttons on the right, with the screen sideways. Hold a button to build up power and swipe before releasing for special moves. See Controls.

Can I play with a game controller?

Yes. Controllers recognized by the browser, over USB or Bluetooth, work in Chrome, Edge and Firefox through the Gamepad API, including for navigating the menus. See the button map in Controls.

Is there multiplayer?

Yes, in two ways. On the same PC, two players, each with their own keyboard or controller (or half a keyboard), against each other or together against the CPU. And online, in beta: 1-on-1 by link, with a server in Brazil, rematches and spectators. One player creates a room and sends the link, and the other joins; each controls their own team and the teammates are controlled by the CPU.

Do I need an account?

No. Without an account, your progress stays in your browser. If you want to keep it in the cloud and take it to another device, save as a guest or sign in with Google or Discord. It's optional and you can turn it off at any time.

What about my data?

Preferences, records, XP and the player and club you create are saved in your browser and, only if you choose, also in the cloud: in a guest account with no personal data, or one linked to Google or Discord, of which we keep only the identifier (no email, photo or name). You can turn it off and delete it in the game. The daily leaderboard only receives your score if you join it. Online, other players see the name you choose; the direct connection, which shows your device's IP address to your opponent, only turns on if you choose it. No ads and no third-party tracking. Details in the Privacy Policy.

Are the clubs and players real?

No. Clubs, players, crests and competitions are fictional, created for the game.

Is the game available in English?

Yes. The site and the game are available in English and in Brazilian Portuguese: choose Português or English at the top or bottom of the page. Your choice applies to both the site and the game, and you can change it at any time. The English Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are translations; in case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

The stadium is full. All it needs is you.
